The MIT Shakespeare Ensemble was proud to present its production of William Shakespeare's "Othello". This timely production focused on the challenges a former Muslim might face in a dominantly Christian world instead of the racial conflicts traditionally presented in stagings of the play.
Our Othello has reached the pinnacle of career success and is seemingly loved by all—but his world begins to crumble when he marries a young Christian girl and has to face her father, their society, and ultimately a betrayal by his closest friend.
