Changes in Course X
Laboratory Subjects
Beginning next academic year:
- 10.26, the Chemical Engineering Project Lab will move to the Spring Semester.
- 10.27, the Chemical Engineering Processes Lab will move to the Fall Semester.
- Both subjects will be intended primarily for seniors.
- 10.302 will be a pre-requisite for both labs.
- Seniors will be able to satisfy Phase 2 of the MIT writing requirement by taking 10.26 in their last semester.
- Juniors will have the prerequisite to take 10.26, but most people will find it easier to take it as Seniors.
To ease the transition, in Fall 1995, we will offer both subjects.
Members of the class of 1996 are especially cautioned to consider this schedule change in planning when to satisfy the department laboratory requirements.
