Children bear the burden of carrying water uphill daily from the community’s broken boreholes which can often prevent them from attending school.

11/10/09: Interested in getting involved?  EWB-MIT is looking for a public relations chair, an events coordinator and a fundraising chair.  Email ewb-exec [at] mit.edu if you are interested.

11/08/09:  The EWB Northeast Region Conference is done and we are hard at work improving EWB-MIT. 

9/24/09: TEAM MEETINGS:
Energy team: 9/30/09 at 6pm in 1-134
Water team: 10/01/09 at 6pm in room 1-246

9/15/09: ROOM CHANGE  Come on Thursday 9/17 at 6:30pm to 4-145.

9/10/09:  Our first GBM of the semester will be held on September 17th at 6:30pm in Room 4-163! Come join us and learn about our assessment trip this summer and different ways you can get involved.

8/28/2009: We have concluded our assessment trip and as the semester begins again, will begin looking at possible solutions for Ddegeya and Engeye Health Clinic.  Keep checking back for meeting updates.

7/15/2009:  Tickets have been bought for two student members and two professional engineers to travel to Ddegeya, Uganda for two weeks in August.  Thanks for all the support.  If you are in Boston this summer and interested in getting involved, email ewb-summer [at] mit.edu.
