Delivering Quality Service to MIT Customers on Every Project
A new group formed by the merger of the Design and Construction section and the Capital Construction group, the Project Management Division’s goal is to be excellent client advocates in delivering quality service and space changes to the MIT community. They are responsible for managing both Capital and Committee for the Review of Space Planning (CRSP) projects from the planning stage through to commissioning.
The Project Management Division provides professional design, estimating, and project management services as well as space planning, interior design, signage and furniture selection to some 50 projects each year.
PMD works closely with the Engineering Division and Campus Planning
and Design (CPD) to provide comprehensive services to MIT clients.
The group collaborates with Space Administration and CPD to manage
the Committee for Review of Space Planning (CRSP) process. Clients
