What you need to know

The Registrar’s Office supports innovation at MIT in a variety of ways. We work closely with departments as they propose, revise, and implement academic programs, and assist with the publication of subject listings each term. We provide staffing and support to faculty committees, including the Committee on Curricula (CoC) and the Committee on the Undergraduate Program (CUP). Through the Alumni Class Funds and d’Arbeloff Fund for Excellence in Education, we offer opportunities for faculty to launch new subjects and innovative teaching initiatives. Finally, the MacVicar Faculty Fellows Program recognizes the very best in undergraduate teaching at the Institute.
