E-Family

E-Family is a collection of about 60 pulse shapes capable of providing highly precise pure-phase selective excitation. It was obtained by a thorough search through the space of smooth, low-power shaped RF pulses using a novel global optimization technique, the Grid Search in the Reduced-Dimension Fourier Space (GREDFOS).
