Welcome to the homepage of the Nanospintronics and superconductivity group at the Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory, MIT, led by principle investigator Dr. Jagadeesh S. Moodera. Our basic research program focuses on fundamental and applied aspects of magnetism and superconductivity, the foremost interest being nano-spintronics, including magnetic tunnel junctions, spin injection into semiconductors, diluted magnetic semiconductors, Josephson junctions based on MgB2 superconductors and recently organic spintronics
