Contra Dance for All: @ MIT
2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Meets every week Sept 12 - Oct 31, 2006, and Feb 13 - Mar 20, 2007.

8:00-10:30 PM. Most Fall '06 and Spring '07 dances are in Student Center 491 (4th Floor, 84 Mass Ave, Cambridge MA).

Free parking in the N10 Lot on Albany Street just east of Mass. Ave, or in the West Annex Lot on Vassar Street just west of Mass. Ave (no permit required at night).
Get directions to the MIT Campus.

All welcome, especially students! No partner or experience is necessary. All dances are taught.

PE credit is available for MIT undergraduates who attend 6 contra dances in a fall or spring half-semester (Sept 12 - Oct 24, 2006, or Feb 13 - Mar 20, 2007). Register in person at a dance, or at the PE Lottery website. The next registration period is Jan 31 - Feb 7, 2007, for the spring class. Everyone is welcome at all contra dances, whether taking the class or not.

Want to Play in the Band or Learn to Call?
Students and others are welcome to sit in with the band and/or call dances in this series! Feel free to bring an instrument and join the band at any dance whose listing below indicates that sit-ins are welcome. To find out more, call Ann Cowan: 617-354-0864.
