Finance Board

The UA Finance Board is a group of ten undergraduates charged by the UA to make budget recommendations for the student group funding that the UA receives. For the 2004-2005 school year, approximately $180K has been given to the UA for student groups. The Finance Board's job is to review the budget requests from student groups and recommend the allocation of funds; throughout the semester, Finance Board members help student groups with the funding process from application to reimbursement.

  • IMPORTANT: Any event which receives any funding from Finboard in the "Events" category must be publicized to the MIT community, through posters and using the MIT Events Calendar (http://events.mit.edu). A copy of the poster you used (which must show the UA Logo and indicate Finboard sponsorship) must be sumitted with your receipts or you will not be reimbursed for the expense. The MIT Events Calendar will also be checked before a reimbursement is issued. If you have questions, contact your liaison.
