Choose the Option that Best Suits You
Exploring this site has shown you the variety of academic advising options available to you during your freshman year. Your advising choice is an important one, a commitment for your entire first year at MIT, so don't make it lightly or alone. If you have questions about your choice, please be in touch with UAAP staff.
The deadline for submitting your on-line Freshman Advising choice form has passed, it was Friday, June 12.
If you did not submit an advising choice form: We MUST hear from you about your freshman advising preference.
Read through the information about freshman advising, in this section, then e-mail your choices to firstyear-www@mit.edu and include the following information:
- Indicate whether you want a Freshman Advising Seminar or Traditional Advising freshman advising.
- If you want a Freshman Advising Seminar, please list your 5 choices by Seminar Number and Seminar Title, for example:
