Opportunities to Explore
Your MIT education involves much more than your classroom experience. The entrepreneurial spirit is prized and encouraged; opportunities abound! If you cannot find what you want, you can create it. For example: several years ago an incoming freshman approached the UROP office with the idea to start an undergraduate research journal at MIT. A student-administered publication, the MIT Undergraduate Research Journal (MURJ) is now published once per semester. See the MURJ website for the current edition and information about submitting articles for publication.
