Advising Right Now: Development & Training Meetings

The Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Programming holds Advisor Development Meetings throughout the academic year. The goal of these sessions is to develop a highly knowledgeable and invested community of freshman advisors. These meetings are great opportunities to get together with fellow advisors, to learn more about campus resources, and to share information and insights with each other.

August All-Advisor Orientation

The annual Advisor Orientation was held on Monday, August 29, for all freshman advisors. Faculty from the Science Core, HASS, Communication, and Physical Education requirements presented the various options for meeting their parts of the General Institute Requirements. PDF versions of the Communiciations and HASS Requirements handouts from training are available for download via the links below.

Upcoming Advisor Development Meetings

Continuing education meetings for freshman advisors are held several times per term. Topics are posted as scheduled.
