Advising Right Now: Development & Training Meetings

The Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Programming holds Advisor Development Meetings throughout the academic year. The goal of these sessions is to develop a highly knowledgeable and invested community of freshman advisors. These meetings are great opportunities to get together with fellow advisors, to learn more about campus resources, and to share information and insights with each other.

Upcoming Advisor Development Meetings

Continuing education meetings for freshman advisors will be held several times per term.

End of Term Advising and Spring Planning: Monday, December 1, 12:00-1:00pm in PDRs 1 & 2 (3rd Floor, W20)

You are invited to a lunch conversation that will focus on how to advise your freshmen at the end of the term, especially when they face challenges. We will also discuss effective ways to start conversations about being on grades in the Spring term.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Elizabeth Young by November 20.
