APPLICATION QUESTIONS

Please answer the following questions with clear and thoughtful responses.

1. What dorm activities are you involved in (i.e. student government, floor chair)?

2. What leadership experience qualifies you serve on the AA Steering Committee?

3. Please provide examples how you will communicate to the freshmen in your dorm? How will you collaborate with the other associate advisors?

4. How would you describe your communication style? Please provide some examples.

5. Please provide an example of a situation in which you have given recommendations on a committee. What resulted from your recommendations?

RESUME & RECOMMENDATIONS

In addition to submitting the application, you must also:

• email an up-to-date resume to Leslie Bottari (bottari@mit.edu).
  
  
• Request a letter of recommendation from someone who has supervised you at MIT (e.g. professors, advisors, TAs and staff mentors). Recommenders should submit their letters via the online recommendation form or via email to Leslie Bottari (bottari@mit.edu). Note that while you may use the same recommendation submitted for your associate advisor application, the recommender must submit a recommendation for your AA Steering Committee application separately.    

When you have completed this application, you can either submit or Reset the form to all fields and begin again.
