Transfer Student Orientation
The Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Programming (UAAP) welcomes you and aims to support your transition to MIT.
You are expected to attend Transfer Student Orientation and engage in other Orientation programs throughout the week. Throught out the week of Orientation activities, you will have many opportunities to meet MIT students, faculty and staff. You will be able to explore academic options, campus/student life programs, MIT residences and the campus and its resources
If you are an international student, you are also required to attend International Orientation and must be in touch with Danielle Guichard-Ashbrook in the International Students' Office, (617) 253-3795, danielle@mit.edu for more information.
- International Student Arrival: August 17 and August 18. International Orientation events are held Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20
For all other Transfer Students:
- Arrival August 24 & 25. All transfer students must check in by 12 NOON on August 25.
- You will receive your MIT ID and Orientation schedule when you check in.
