Reading, speaking, and writing skills developed while exploring various topics in contemporary Russian culture and society. Topics include Russian geopolitics, contemporary society, including youth culture, as well as literature, arts, and visual culture. Examines a variety of print and visual sources, including Russian media and film. Conducted entirely in Russian. Limited to 18. Prereq: permission of instructor
