Comparing the words from
the Word Association survey, i also
noticed that Americans must take freedom for granted,
especially since the word "guaranteed" was listed in
the
American list. I also noticed that we americans associate the
word freedom with America as if the two were equal. This
further confirms that americans take their freedom for
granted. This opposes the french view according to the survey
where liberty is "sacred."
