    I find it interesting that even though more French people live in
    cities with neighbors very close to them, they don't seem to interact
    with their neighbors as much as Americans who mostly live in
    suburbs. The American responses described many activities people have with neighbors,
    such as babysitting, dining together, and borrowing things from each other
    other. On the other hand, the french responses mostly indicate
    that the French want their neighbors to leave them alone. Perhaps the
    closer one lives with someone, the more annoyed he is by that someone?
