Bonjour, We understand most of the responses you have provided. There are a few, however, that we have not been able to look up or that our teacher doesn't know. We would appreciate it immensely if you could explain to us what the following words meant: Rao, zook, NTM, saoul, soukouss, and new jack.
We noticed a few things about the responses from each country and would like to comment on them. We observed that the American students had more diverse responses than the French students, in general. We hypothesize that you like to listen to similar types of music in groups, while the American students like to listen to more individually oriented types of music.
The American students seemed to have more negative responses than the French students. We believe that the types of music the Americans listen to are generally more negative than the French students music. This can be accounted for by the increasing number of people who find darker music to be more appealing.

-Le RAI est une musique orientale qui vient du Maghreb (ALGERIE).
-Le SOUKOUSS est une musique de l'Afrique Centrale(ZAIRE),cette
danse s'éffectue avec les "fesses".PS:KOFFI OLOMIDE.
-leZOUK est une musique des WEST INDIES(Martinique,Guadeloupe).
-NTM est un groupe de rap français équivaut au WU
