MIT Vehicle Design Summit

The MIT Vehicle Design Summit is an international and student-led program working to contribute a new mode for education, innovation, and inspiration through transportation design. Their current project, ArchiMITes, is a prototype to help improve systems engineering skills at MIT. Richard James

Rich is one of our generous alumni and the original founder of our team. In 2001, as a freshman, he and a group of friends started the team. It took them two years to develope their first functional car and from there the team grew. He graduated in 2004 with his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering. He continued to be part of the team until 2006 when he graduated with his Master's degree from MIT.
