MIT SAP Test Case Name Format

A test case name can be up to 30 characters long.

1.) The first four spaces will be reserved for the company code that each transaction test script uses.

2.) The second two spaces will define what department or business area will be responsible for defining, maintaining and using the test script. Refer to the department name matrix for applicable abbreviations.

3.) The next four to eight spaces will identify the transaction, ABAP or report code that is being tested.

4.) The last four spaces will be used as a sequence number or an additional identifier/qualifier that can be customized for a business area's use.
