Bio

I am interested in the neural mechanisms underlying auditory temporal signal processing in humans, namely in speech and music processing. I work with electrophysiological methods (EEG), neuroimaging methods (fMRI), as well as psychoacoustic and behavioural paradigms.

I received a MSc. in psychology and economics from the University of Zurich and did my master’s thesis at the Max-Planck Institute for Cognitive and Brain Sciences. In 2007 I completed my Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Zurich. When joining Gablab in 2008, I began to investigate timing perception and its influence in higher cognitive processing. I also recently started to work with various patient groups.
