2008 Winter Party

Champagne

It’s once again the time of year when G.A.M.E. hosts its most renowned event — the G.A.M.E. WINTER PARTY. This is a star-studded event, where everyone from Leslie Regan to Beyonce will be in attendance. OK, not Beyonce, but maybe Santa. OK, not Santa (no one said they would feel comfortable sitting on Carlos’ lap), but definitely Hannah Montana*.

In any case, be there on Friday, December 12th at 7 pm in the Ashdown Hulsizer Room. Lots of great food, live jazz, and a variety of beverages at the very affordable cash bar. You’ll be sure to impress all your friends in your “semi-formal” attire&hellip until you spill some of that mustard sauce on your shirt… again.

Tickets can be purchased right this very minute at the GAME Store.

Hope to see you all there!

This event is sponsored by G.A.M.E., GSC, and LEF (Large Events Fund).

Date:
Friday, December 12
Time:
7pm
Location:
Hulsizer Room, The New Ashdown

If you want to come, please sign up!

Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, August 19th.

GAME Rocks!

We are pleased to announce that GAME has been selected as the 2008 recipient of the Edward L. Horton Fellowship Award. From the awards website:

The Edward L. Horton Fellowship Award is given in memory of Edward L. Horton, a doctoral candidate in Physics, to honor his spirited contributions to graduate student life at the Institute. The award will be presented to any student group that fosters fellowship within the graduate student community. This award was established by the Graduate Student Council upon the untimely death of Mr. Horton in 1982.

EES Surgical Staple

It is with great pleasure that GAME announces the winners of the Excellence in Medical Device Design Prize 2008. Heejin Lee, Drug Delivery Device for Bladder Disorders
1st place:
Conor Walsh and Nevan Hanumara, Robopsy
3rd place:
