My name is George Jing Xu. I am a third year graduate student in the joint program between Harvard Biophysics and Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology Medical Engineering Medical Physics. The science buzzwords I enjoy are Synthetic Biology and Omics. I am currently working in Professor Steve Elledge's lab on developing technologies utilizing high through DNA synthesis and sequencing capabilities for applications in diagnosing and treating disease.

I graduated magna cum laude in 2010 from Harvard University with joint A.B. and S.M. degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Engineering. During my undergraduate career, I worked in Professor George Church's lab on the Multiplex Automated Genome Engineering technology.
