I am a fifth year graduate student in the Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT. I am interested in phonology and phonetics, and the relationship between the two. My dissertation explores the acoustic and perceptual properties of ejectives and aspirates and develops a phonetically informed analysis of laryngeal cooccurrence restrictions.
