I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design Sculpture Department in 1999. Through out school and ever since, glass has been my primary medium. I have focused on cold treatments of glass, mainly sandblasting. A technique that I learned from Peter Houk in 1995. My current approach to sculpture is to layer flat glass with sandblasted illustrations on them, in combination with the blown or solid forms that I am learning to make at the MIT glass shop. |
