Pyramids of Power

The Pyramids of Power were the first pair of speakers I built. I started to get interested in high fidelity audio in the mid 1990s. In 1997, while sophomore in high school, I designed and built these speakers. At the time, my knowledge of audio design was severely limited, relying on rules of thumb and such. However, I had a great deal of fun building the pyramids. They continue to be a point of conversation for new friends and despite all their design flaws, perform reasonably well.

I have provided some detail on the design of these speakers, but much of the actual design ideas are not good practice or even correct.
