The final race for our cars occured on Monday, March 16. Due to the somewhat slower pace of the other team, this date missed our original projected race date of late November, early December. As anticipated as the race was, the results were kind of funny. Keep looking to find out more.

Professor Leeb starts off the competiton by outlining the rules and setting the course for the drag race and slalom.

John makes some last minute adjustments to our drive train to make sure that the chain doesn't keep riding.

Steve Shaw takes the cart around for a quick spin... Very quick that is.

Here we see our friend and mentor Roger checking the gocart out for his self.

Professor Kirtly and his students look on in fear at the Team Leeb cart. Looks like he thinks that he has somethign up his sleeve, huh?

Professor Leeb watches as Kailas and Alex tune up some of the motor mounts.

Kailas talks with one of the sponsors that made this seminar possible.

Both carts are on the line, ready for the final moment. An entire semester of work and months of waiting(at least for our team) have come down to this moment. Best two out of three races in the drag..

They're off. Neat picture of Kailas rounding the drag course. Surely one of the fastest thing to grace the track at Dupont.

Well, it looks like whatever was up Kirtley's sleeve backfired in a major way! That white stuff you see in the box is the other team's relays in vapor form.. Smelled pretty bad..

Alex went on to drive our cart through the obstacle course, too bad there wasn't any competition..

Heh, so, as the Team Leeb cart cruised back to the LEES labs in victory, Kirtley's team needed a bit of help.. Anyone got a tow?
