Mass Insight Corporation

Mass Insight organizes leadership groups and facilitates public-private initiatives to improve state performance on issues that have a significant economic impact on Massachusetts, including higher education.

Massachusetts Biotechnology Council

MIT is a member of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MBC). The Council is a not-for-profit organization that provides services and support for the Massachusetts biotechnology industry. The MBC is committed to advancing the development of critical new science, technology and medicines.

Massachusetts Technology Collaborative

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative is the state's development agency for renewable energy and the innovation economy, which is responsible for one-quarter of all jobs in the state. The Collaborative brings together leaders from industry, academia, and government to advance technology-based solutions that lead to economic growth and a cleaner environment

Impact of Innovation Report

"MIT: The Impact of Innovation," which was prepared by the Bank Boston Economics Department, presents the results of a major study on the national economic impact of companies founded by MIT alumni and alumnae. Among other findings, the study reveals that MIT graduates have founded 4,000 companies, creating 1.1 million jobs worldwide and generating annual sales of $232 billion.

Technology Licensing Office

The Technology Licensing Office of Massachusetts Institute of Technology is one of the most active university patent and licensing offices in the country. The Office helps to create new products and promote economic development.

Entrepreneurship Center

The MIT Entrepreneurship Center provides support that enables entrepreneurs to design and launch successful new ventures based on innovative technologies. We help MIT students, alumni, and colleagues access resources at MIT and around the world.

Cambridge Chamber of Commerce

MIT is a member of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, a not-for-profit organization representing all sectors of the Cambridge economy. The Chamber actively engages local business leaders in governmental and philanthropic activities, connecting and educating its members, and providing a forum for addressing the needs of the Cambridge business community

Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce

MIT also belongs to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. This association works to ensure the long-term advancement of Greater Boston as one of the world's great metropolitan regions.
