The logos are supplied as a tiled set in each of the three sizes:

The .png version can be used to change the rollover color on websites using CSS positioning.

RGB .png for web or Office documents

An MIT certificate is required to download all six designs in each of the three sizes in six color schemes.

EPS

An .eps (Encapsulated PostScript) file is the format of choice for offset print or display work such as large-format banners. The large MIT logo can be enlarged to any dimension without losing quality and are compatible with page layout programs such as Adobe InDesign. Use the .eps versions in files being professionally designed for offset or digital printing, or when using LaTeX.

Do not convert an .eps of the MIT logo into a bitmapped format such as a .jpg or .png. Use the .png files supplied.

PNG

A .png (Portable Network Graphic) file is the format of choice for websites and for use Office documents such as Word or PowerPoint. Using the supplied sizes in .png format ensures that the MIT logo will retain its distinct structure and proportions.

Do not change the sizes of the approved MIT logo .png files as they will lose sharpness and proportions.
