The MIT logo formats available here are bit map GIFs and take full advantage of the web environment. You won't have a problem with blurry or ragged edges, and the rectilinear design is plotted pixel by pixel to read crisp and clear on web browsers. The accompanying type spelling out "Massachusetts Institute of Technology" is also a unique bit map font specifically designed to be paired with the logo.

One more thing before you download—have you thought about color? Your website might be designed in any of 216 web-safe colors.
