If you are using organization focus branding or endorsed branding, leverage the strength of MIT by displaying the MIT logo in the same visual field as your department’s identity, such as on a brochure cover. The logo should be considered from the beginning so its presence in your design will be more effective. It shouldn’t be hidden on the back cover or an interior page.
The words “Massachusetts Institute of Technology” must appear somewhere on your print piece, if you are not using it as part of the MIT logo or your department’s logo. The MIT logo reinforces the name of the Institute and shouldn’t replace it, since some people outside of our community may not know what “MIT” means.
