| When can I move in? Please contact our house manager Jon Nolan at jnolan(@mit.edu) to arrange for a move in date. Does each room have a bathroom? Only double rooms have their own bathrooms. Otherwise there are two bathrooms on each floor one big one and one smaller one. There are about 12 women per floor. Do rooms come with air conditioners? No, rooms do not come with air conditioners and Green Hall does not have central air conditioning. However, you are permitted to purchase an air conditioner and install it in your window or use room fans. Does Green Hall have refrigerators for its residents? Yes, the kitchens on each floor have two full sized refrigerators which the residents share. Many residents also buy their own small refrigerators and keep them in their room or in the kitchen. Do rooms have carpeting? No, all rooms have tiled floors so many residents lay their own carpets in their rooms. |
