Here're some details of the events we have scheduled.

Sunday, Sept 1st, Freedom Trail Guided Tour (11 am - 3 pm).

The freedom trail takes you through almost three centuries of Boston's cononial and revolutionary history, as a red line on the sidewalk leads you from site ot site. You'll get to visit the Boston Common, State House, Quincy Market & Fanueil Hall, Charlestown Navy Yard & USS Constitution, Boston Massacre Site, King's Chapel, Bunker Hill Monument and other such famous landmarks that made Boston one of the centers of American Independence. You've to buy tickets for this in advance. Mail me if you're interested.

Monday Sept 2nd, Cape Ann Beach Trip (800 am - 4 pm)

We'll be going along with MIT's orientation team for this trip. Have a fun filled day in the beach... Mail me in advance if you're interested - I've to buy commuter rail tickets for this. We'll meet in the first floor lounge at 800 am

Dorm Dinner (6:30 pm), Basement Kitchen

Our traditional labour day dinner to welcome new residents and our new housemaster. We'll be ordering food from Bertucci's. Please bring you're own cups, spoons and plates.

Tuesday Sept. 3rd, Lottery and Coffee Hour (8pm), Basement Kitchen

We'll be serving dessert during the traditional reg day lottery. 

Thursday Sept 5th, Prudential Skywalk and Icecream trip (7 pm)

The Prudential Skywalk observatory offers breathtaking 360° views of Boston, 700 feet in the air. We'll be walking down to the Prudential Building to see the observatory and will have icecream later.

Meet in the first floor lounge at 7 pm.

Saturday Sept 7th, Matinee Movie & coffee outing (130 pm - 5 pm)

We'll be going to Loews Theatre (Boston commons) for 'Serving Sara' the new comedy starring Mathew Perry (of Friends Fame) and Elizabeth Hurley.

Plot outline When Sara (Elizabeth Hurley) is served divorce papers while she is in New York, she is stunned. Not about to lose the fortune she amassed with her self-serving Texas husband, she makes an offer to her process server, Joe (Matthew Perry) that sets them off on a wild trip across the country....

We'll meet at 1:30 in the first floor lounge & will have coffee after the movie.
