Computer Clubhouse

United South End Settlements (USES), incorporated in its current organizational form in 1960, is a human service agency serving a lower income population residing in the South End/Lower Roxbury sections of Boston. USES' mission is to be a catalyst bringing together the resources of participants, community, and agency to
  • promote the stabilization and well being of individuals and groups at risk within the community;
  • nurture personal growth and development;
  • build a sense of community; and
  • foster an environment in which all can thrive.

USES' constituents reflect the diverse, multi-ethnic, and racial character of the community, and range in age from 3 to over 100 years.

The Computer Clubhouse at USES is a model after-school learning environment where young people from local Boston neighborhoods use technology to develop projects based on their own interests. The Computer Clubhouse is looking for students and professionals who are interested in volunteering or interning at the USES Clubhouse. Call Lisa Evans at 375 - 8146 for more information.
