About the GSN
The GRADUATE STUDENT NEWS is a news magazine which features articles on the issues that are important to graduate students at MIT: stipends, housing, and childcare, just to name a few. Moreover, the GSN is a forum for grads to voice their opinions. News and events are also publicized in a more toung in cheek manner. We take our work seriously, but we also try and make the GSN fun to read.
How do I contribute?
The GSN is published every six weeks during the school year. Grads are encouraged to be a part of the GSN. To write an article or submit a letter to the editor, email gsn-editor@mit.edu. The submission deadlines and dates which the GSN reaches all 6,000+ MIT students are summarized as follows:

Please note: submission does not guarantee publication. The GSN appreciates the time and effort it takes to craft an article or letter. However, the Editors reserve the right to edit all submissions.
Further note: submissions to the GSN must be unique to our publication; we will not accept previously published material.
Where is my GSN?
The GSN is mailed to all graduate students' term (home) address, as listed in WebSIS. Proceeds from advertisements pay for postage. Copies are also delivered to the locations on this map. And of course, you can download each issue off of the GSN homepage.
Who is on the staff?
The GRADUATE STUDENT NEWS is published by graduate students. When not busting out GSN's, we do our school work, spend time with friends, and explore Boston, just like you.
