Purpose and Impact
MIT Museum offered a perfect setting for informal networking for MIT grad students, professors, and representatives from industry at Grad nights @ MIT Museum. Working with various graduate student and professional organizations, such as the Energy Club, the Smart Cities Initiative, and the International Development Conference, MIT Museum themed each Grad Night to attract a broad cross-section of graduate students while providing a topic and environment perfect for more intense discussion across the disciplines. This environment included the exhibit galleries of MIT Museum and special interest presentations from labs, grad student organizations, and industry. A jazz combo and open bar livened up each evening, creating a fashionable event that attracted hundreds of graduate students.
