MIT is a major partner in the NSBE 2006 National Convention, taking place in Pittsburgh, PA Wednesday, March 29th through Saturday, April 1st.  MIT Diversity Partners and NSBE share the common objective of encouraging qualified faculty, staff and students of color to consider careers in higher education.

MIT Diversity Partners consists of twenty units from across MIT that are collaborating on this diversity initiative.

What is NSBE? NSBE-MIT seeks to "increase the number of culturally responsible minority engineers and scientists who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community".
