Auditions for Ruddigore will be held in room W20-491 (84 Masschusetts Avenue, MIT Student Center).
If callbacks are held, they will take place on Saturday, September 6th, 2003, 2-5 pm in W20-407.
Special Note: If you are interested in the parts of Robin, Despard or Mad Margaret, the directors may ask you to demonstrate patter skills.
Sing Through (first rehearsal): Sunday, September 7th, 2-5 pm (location to be announced).
No appointment is necessary — simply come to either audition period. Auditions will be in first-come, first-seen order.
Please bring two copies of sheet music of a prepared song in English (one for the accompanist; one for you). A brief theatrical resume is optional.
Don't have a song? Sing "Happy Birthday" or "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."
The director will provide a scene to be acted at the auditions.
Auditions are open to everyone, even those not affiliated with MIT. However, as Resolution 2.1 of our bylaws state:
Each auditionee will be allowed to perform in front of the audition board (consisting of the producer, director, Executive Committee representative, and pianist) without any other auditionees present.
