Just to recap our Citidays Volunteer experience:
- August 30th - CitiDays at Central School
As part of a large group of MIT students, the GSVC met at Kresge Oval for breakfast and orientation. After some confusion about whether a group of pledges from one of the fraternities would join us, the GSVC members continued onto Central School in Cambridge. We helped them set up for preschool graduation, transforming a really really ugly room into a festive graduation room. Then we had lunch with the children, who were ages infant to preschool and very curious. We helped the teachers put away new supplies in the storeroom (braving the scary basement) and helped organize the old supplies.
