a postdoctoral fellow at the Broad
Feng Zhang. I
received Ph.D. from Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science Department at MIT
in 2012, under
supervision of Prof.
Robert S. Langer and Prof.
Ali Khademhosseini. I
was a short-term postdoctoral fellow in the David H.
Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT
Robert S. Langer.
My Ph.D. research focused on microengineering stimuli-responsive biomaterials and developing technologies to control spatial organization of multicellular systems for replicating human tissues in vitro. My Ph.D. studies were featured as MIT Spotlight and in several news articles, including MIT-News, Science Daily, Cell, Forbes, Materials Today, R&D Magazine, Eurekalert, Nanowerk, Physorg, Physics Inventions, Biology News, Chemistry News, e!Science News, my Science, and many other news articles.
My postdoctoral research focuses on developing in vitro human neuronal tissues for modelling neurological diseases and utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 genome engineering tools to study disease mechanisms and devolop potential therapautic targets.
I always believe that you can achieve any task if you devote yourself to it, and every person should do something for improving the world.
