Layer-by-Layer Nanoparticle Delivery for Tumor Therapies. Polyelectrolyte layer-by-layer assembly on nanoparticles can not only modify the surface for better biostability and biocompatibility, but also allow the incorporation of a broad range of therapeutic agents into the ultrathin nanoscale films. Using this technique, I am developing a nanocarrier system that is able to carry multiple cancer therapeutics, and to achieve extended biodistribution and tumor targeting. |
