Biological Templating of Photovoltaic Devices
As a joint postdoctoral research between the Hammond and Belcher labs, I
am investigating methods of self-assembling M13 bacteriophage into
ordered arrays and using these arrays as templates for semiconductor
devices. Such arrays may have unique applications in photovoltaics and
could form the basis of novel schemes for the complete self-assembly of
functional electronic devices.
