LbL Nanoparticles For Targeted Drug Delivery 

My primary objective in this project will be to optimize the nanoparticle structure for desired pharmacokinetics and stability. Combinatorial therapeutics (i.e. drug/adjuvant combination) will be investigated using this nanoscopic platform as a means to sensitize and deliver a drug of interest to specific cells. This will be done using the LbL technique applied to nanoparticles. These functionalized layers confer added stability to the particles and provide a versatile platform for tuning therapeutic encapsulation and targeting.
