    I am Harish Mukundan. I am a doctoral student at the Center for Ocean Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) . I work as a research assistant at the Design Laboratory with Prof. Nicholas M. Patrikalakis, Prof. Michael S. Triantafyllou, Prof. Takashi Maekawa, Prof. Takis Sakkalis, Dr. Franz Hover and Dr. K. H. Ko.

I come from India, the biggest democracy in the world. My country is rightly described by the quote "Unity in Diversity".

State

I hail from Thrissur, Kerala - the southern most state of India. My place is known for its scenic beauty and hence rightly called "The God's Own Country".

My parents are the most important people in my life right now. They have been the most wonderful two people I have ever seen. My father's name is Mukundan and my mother's name is Lali. I have two sisters whose names are Prathibha and Praseeda.
