NanoEngineering Group and NEMS

Research Interests
Nanoelectromechanical Systems (NEMS) design, control, and fabrication, Biofunctionalized NEMS; Design, synthesis, characterization, and carrier transport in low-dimensional structures, (specifically) inorganic nanowires and carbon nanotubes for energy conversion applications; Optoelectronics and Molecular electronics.

Computing Interests
Parallel and distributed computing: MPI and PVM, parallel computer simulation; Dynamic data structures; Finite element analysis and numerical methods.
