Alex Chan's research interests lie at the intersection between economics and History, Anthropology, Science, Technology and Society. His current research looks at experiments in economics, in particular, field experiments. Another topic that he is interested in is the history of finance as a field of history of science. Other research interests include business history, economic history, history of financing innovation and history of economic thought.
Alex's undergraduate training is in business and law. He also has graduate training in economics, with concentrations in economic theory, institutional economics and theoretical finance.
