Pei-Lin Chua is interested in new forms of biomedical personhood in neo-liberal and post-socialist societies. In particular, she seeks to understand psychiatric and neurological disorders as they are inflected culturally, and the mutations. Previously, Pei-Lin studied in Singapore and in the UK.
