michaela thompson

Michaela Thompson is interested in exploring the history of marine parks and aquaria, investigating what they tell us about popular attitudes towards marine life. She holds a BA in History from Carleton College and an MA in History from Northeastern University. She has worked as an historical research consultant for institutions ranging from Northeastern's Office of the President to Boston's Old North Church. She also works as a volunteer at the penguin exhibit at the New England Aquarium.
