3.2 Loading Structures Found by a ConQuest Search
- If you have performed a search in ConQuest, and that program has detected that Mercury is installed, you will be able to transfer the structures found in your search to Mercury. This can be done using ConQuest's View Results pane in several ways:
- Hit File in the ConQuest top-level menu followed by View Entries in Mercury.
- Hit the Analyse Hitlist button (located above the scrolling list of refcodes in the ConQuest View Results pane), and then hit View in Mercury.
- Click the right mouse button on the scrolling list of refcodes in ConQuest, and then hit View in Mercury.
- It is possible to display multiple structures simultaneously (see Section 4).
- Mercury can also read text files containing lists of refcodes (see Refcode (entry ID)), one per line, provided that the database containing the corresponding structures has already been loaded. Refcode lists can be loaded in various ways (see Section 3.3).
- If a ConQuest hitlist or some other refcode file has been loaded into Mercury, only those refcodes will be accessible for viewing. To return to viewing an entire database, hit Databases in the top-level menu, and select the database you want to view.
