5.6 Viewing Along and Perpendicular to Planes

If a Miller plane (see Section 7.3) or least-squares plane (see Section 7.2) has been defined, the view direction can be changed so that you are looking down the normal to the plane or down a direction that lies in the plane.

To view down the normal, right-click on the plane and select View perpendicular to plane from the resulting pull-down menu.
To view down a vector lying in the plane (i.e. edge-on to the plane), right-click on the plane and select View along plane from the resulting pull-down menu.
